Who We Are
McKinney Craftsman is made up of a close-knit team of carpenters who love building stuff and helping people. Our top priority is to honor God with our work which inspires and compels us to take great care of our customers. In fact, we hope this is what sets us apart: our commitment to quality, integrity, and making the entire process easy and enjoyable.
What We Do
At McKinney Craftsman we create custom cabinets, built-ins and floating shelves. We bring high-end craftsmanship to everyday people. Every project is designed, built, and installed in-house by the same team which results in your kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and office looking and performing exactly like it should. We’re not interested in mass produced, foreign made, low durability cabinets. This is why all of our cabinets and built-ins are made to be beautiful, durable and functional.
Beautiful: Thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted. We consider how each cabinet looks individually and collectively. Cabinetry should enhance the character and beauty of a room.
Durable: Built to be strong and to hold up to generations of use and wear. We achieve this by using wood-core plywoods, overbuilt joinery and top-of-the-line hardware.
Functional: Equally as important as the aesthetic and strength, our cabinetry is made to be comfortable, accessible and intuitive. Additionally, every moving part is slow-close, smooth, quiet and enjoyable to use.
Where Its Made
Our shop is just off the historic town square of McKinney, TX and all of our projects are made here. We keep our service area unusually small because we love serving our community and being available for our families. Being nearby also helps us show up on time and provide better service! In terms of materials, all of our hardwoods are grown and milled in the USA and our hardware is manufactured in North Carolina.
